The TCI Method
Your best colors revealed.
The TCI color analysis system is based on the science of natural color harmony, accurate interpretation of the Munsell color system, full-spectrum light theory, and human physiology to discover your natural color palette.
What is unique about the TCI color system is that it doesn’t just classify you as a season, it creates natural color harmony. TCI focuses on how colors interact with your natural features instead of just matching undertones. Using the TCI system means that I follow a logical, systematic process rooted in color science, with carefully calibrated drapes and full spectrum lighting. This ensures that every client’s analysis is fine-tuned, accurate, and unique to them.
Using the TCI system means that I follow a logical, systematic process rooted in color theory, with scientifically calibrated drapes and full spectrum lighting to ensure that every client’s analysis is fine-tuned, accurate, and unique to them. The tci method uses a 12 tone color system to determine undertone. The goal is to identify your natural color tone and to accurately place it into one of the 12 Tones that honor and enhance your innate beauty and radiance.
Winter & Summer - all Cool with blue undertones
Spring & Autumn - all Warm with yellow undertones
Two Neutral categories in each season
Cool Neutral- Cool (blue) with some warm (yellow)
Warm Neutral- Warm (yellow) with some cool (blue)
There are also 3 dimensions of color that help to determine your accurate season:
Hue – the Temperature of color. Are you warm, cool, or neutral?
Value – Light to Dark. Are light, medium or dark colors best on you?
Chroma – Soft to Bright, Low to High, Muted to Saturated. Are saturated, bright colors better or do you need colors that are more soft and muted or somewhere in-between?
